Carolina Forest, a master, planned community in Horry County, South Carolina, located north of US 501 between Myrtle Beach and Conway along the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway. This master-planned community was designed around three golf courses. Primarily a residential but offers all the necessities you would need: banks, medical, schools, retail, churches, golf, and dining.  Carolina Forest also offers an award-winning school district.  Coastal Carolina University is located near this area. Nearly 25 square miles has been set aside for conservation, so many pine and hardwood forests are in this area. Many homes are located by lakes and trees.  Many different neighborhoods are offering different size homes and pricing. It is only a short drive to the beached attractions in the Myrtle Beach area. Carolina Forest offers the best of both worlds, with being close enough to enjoy the beach but far enough out to make it affordable.
